Shipping Policy
1. General
Private Labels Hair Products coordinates the shipment of private label products manufactured according to the Customer's specifications.
Shipping services may be arranged by us on behalf of the Customer or by a carrier selected directly by the Customer.
Unless expressly stated otherwise in the quotation, shipping costs, customs duties, import taxes, local taxes, storage fees, and any other logistics-related charges are not included in the product price and shall be borne by the Customer.
2. Production and Shipping Lead Times
Production lead times and shipping schedules provided by the Company are estimates only.
Standard production lead times are generally approximately eight (8) weeks from order confirmation; however, actual lead times may vary depending on production planning, raw material availability, packaging availability, regulatory requirements, seasonal demand, transportation conditions, and other factors beyond the Company's reasonable control.
The Company shall not be liable for delays caused by manufacturers, suppliers, freight carriers, customs authorities, governmental agencies, force majeure events, or any third party involved in the supply chain.
3. Shipping Arrangements
The Company may assist the Customer in obtaining shipping quotations and coordinating transportation; however, shipping services are performed by independent third-party logistics providers.
Transit times provided by carriers are estimates only and are not guaranteed by the Company.
The Company shall not be responsible for delays, losses, damages, customs inspections, port congestion, carrier service interruptions, or other events occurring during transportation.
4. Transfer of Risk
Risk of loss, damage, theft, or deterioration of the products shall transfer to the Customer upon:
-
Delivery of the goods to the carrier selected by the Customer; or
-
Delivery to the shipping address specified by the Customer; or
-
Collection of the goods by the Customer or its representative,
whichever occurs first.
Any claims relating to transport damage, shortages, or delivery issues must be submitted directly to the carrier where applicable.
5. Customs, Duties, and Import Requirements
For international shipments, the Customer is solely responsible for:
-
Compliance with local import regulations;
-
Payment of customs duties and taxes;
-
Import licenses or permits;
-
Product registrations required in the destination country;
-
Any additional fees imposed by customs authorities.
The Company shall not be responsible for delays, refusals, seizures, or additional costs resulting from customs procedures or local regulatory requirements.
6. Inspection Upon Delivery
The Customer must inspect all shipments immediately upon receipt.
Any visible transport damage, shortages, or discrepancies must be noted on the carrier's delivery documentation and reported to the Company within fourteen (14) days of delivery.
Failure to report such issues within this period may result in the claim being rejected.
7. Storage Charges
If products are ready for shipment but cannot be dispatched due to circumstances attributable to the Customer, the Company reserves the right to charge reasonable storage, handling, and administrative fees until shipment can be completed.
8. Force Majeure
The Company shall not be liable for any delay, interruption, or failure to perform shipping obligations resulting from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, labour disputes, transportation disruptions, governmental actions, supplier shortages, war, terrorism, or other force majeure events.
